Healthy Banana Bread Recipe

Chocolate Banana Bread Recipe
The best healthy banana bread recipe you've ever tasted! Add nuts, chocolate, or both!Easy Banana Bread What you will need: 
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- cinnamon, as little or much as you like (optional)
- nutmeg, as much as you'd like, just remember that it has a
- strong taste (optional)
- 1 cup chopped nuts OR chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3 bananas, mashed with a fork- I like to use a potato masher, it's faster and gives a smoother texture
Preparation: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan. In a large bowl, mix flour, baking soda, cinnamon and nutmeg and nuts or chocolate (if using). In a separate bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Add bananas and mix well. Fold in dry ingredients. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan. Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack. Store in a Ziplock bag for up to two days on the counter top. Do not put in fridge; it will cause the bread to go stale faster. Makes about 12 slices. See all of our romantic recipes!
