After Dark Ideas

• Carnival or Fair - take in the lights from the top of the Ferris wheel
• Coffee House - think of the television show "Friends" and find one that provides free entertainment (usually on weekends)
• Downhill Skiing- Some resorts light up the slopes after dark, and as a bonus it's quite romantic!
• Skating- Outdoor rinks are lit, as are public areas, such as the Rockefeller Center in New York City, or the World's Longest Skating Rink in Ottawa, Canada
• Hit the Playground- all of the kids are tucked safely in bed, now it's your turn to play on the slides and swings!

• Sign up for a class
• Have a game of pool or snooker.
• Playing in the arcade.
• Star-gazing. Free, romantic, and can be done at any time of year as long as there are stars. Bundle up and take along a thermos of hot chocolate in the wintertime!
• Try our Star-Spinning technique: On a starry night, find a wide open and grassy place (think big backyard or park) look up at the stars and spin in a tight circle as fast as you can. You'll find out what happens when you try it. Guaranteed to make you both laugh.
• The old stand-by Dinner and a Movie . It works, why change it?
• Anywhere with a View- Empire State Building, CN Tower, on a mountain, or a rotating restaurant are a few ideas.
