Take a look in your local paper and search online in your city to see what's going on. There's more than you think!

• Dinner theater or other performing arts
• Movies: IMAX or regular movie theatre
• Music: There are many free or inexpensive outdoor concerts in larger cities just waiting for you to attend; especially during the summer months
• Sporting Events: Auto Racing, College Baseball, Basketball or, Football; if you have teams in your area.

  Other possibilities are college or professional football hockey or soccer games.

  Best to check if your date is into sporting events if you don't know them very well.

• Student screenings and shows: Colleges often host events such as art gallery showings, fashion shows, or film students screening their work.

  These events are often a lot of fun, as they are a bit more relaxed and the students are very creative.
