Easy to make Coleslaw Dressing Recipe
Delicious coleslaw recipes to take on your next picnic! Each has it's own unique dressing.Curried Coleslaw - 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
- 1 Tbsp curry powder
- 4 cups thinly sliced green cabbage
- 2 carrots, peeled and coarsely chopped
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced
- 2 Tbsp dried cranberries
- 1 small jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
Whisk mayo and lime juice and curry powder in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients, and toss to combine.
Regular Coleslaw *Vegetarian Friendly Ingredients - 10 oz green cabbage, thinly sliced (about 4 cups)
- 2 med carrots, grated
- 1 med red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 3 Tbsp vegan or reg mayo
- 2 Tbsp whole-grain mustard
- 1 Tbsp cider vinegar
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
Combine cabbage, carrots and bell pepper in a large bowl. Whisk together mayo, mustard, cider vinegar, sugar, salt and cayenne pepper in a small bowl. Pour mayo mixture over cabbage mix and toss to coat. Chill well. Sprinkle with parsley before serving. Go back to cold picnic food recipes page.
