How to make homemade Caesar Salad Recipes in almost no time at all. Better and fresher than what you would find in any restaurant; try it and see for yourself!
What you will need:
2 Cloves Garlic
2 Tbsp Fresh lemon juice
2 Anchovies
2 Tbsp Olive oil
1 Egg yolk
1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
2 Romaine Hearts, chopped
1 Box Croutons
Salt & pepper to taste
How to make it:
Crush garlic cloves together with anchovies; using a mortar & pedestal works well.
Add mixture to wooden salad bowl then add olive oil, egg yolk and lemon juice. Whisk together.
Add 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and salt & pepper. Whisk again.
Add romaine and toss lightly.
Garnish with croutons.
If you didn't like the eggs in the first recipe, here is a different version:
Caesar Salad Dressing
1/4 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
3 Anchovy Fillets
2 Parsley Sprigs
2 tsp Minced Garlic
2 tsp Dijon Mustard
1 tsp Capers
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
1 cup Olive Oil
2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Red Wine Vinegar
How to make it:
Blend Parmesan, anchovies, parsley, garlic, mustard, capers and pepper to taste in a food processor.
Slowly drizzle in the oil. Add the lemon juice and vinegar.
